Education & Career Fairs Abbotsford 2026: where to stay

The Education & Career Fairs (ECF) return to Abbotsford as part of their British Columbia 2026 tour, following stops in Surrey and Vancouver. The Abbotsford edition brings together universities, colleges, private training institutions, trade schools, industry associations and local employers under one roof, giving attendees the chance to compare programs and career pathways in a single visit. The fair is designed for Grade 10, 11 and 12 students, career counsellors, parents, young adults considering a career change, and newcomers looking for further training or employment in Canada. Exhibitors cover fields ranging from academic degrees and certificates to skilled trades and continuing education, with representatives available to answer questions about admissions, scholarships and job openings. On-site programming includes one-on-one advice from career counsellors and industry experts, free résumé reviews, professional headshots, career assessments and information about financial aid. Admission to all ECF fairs is free, and the events have been running since 1996 under the management of ECF Management Inc., a division of International Conference Services. If you plan to attend the Abbotsford edition, staying near the venue makes it easy to arrive early and make the most of the day. Booking Congress lists hotel options close to the fair so students, counsellors and out-of-town families can secure accommodation within walking distance or a short drive of the campus.
