The Franchise Expo Ottawa 2027: where to stay near the Cohere Centre

The Franchise Expo returns to Ottawa on February 27 and 28, 2027, taking over the Cohere Centre (formerly the EY Centre) for two days dedicated to franchise ownership and business opportunities. It is the largest 'Own Your Own Business' event in Eastern Ontario and is organized by National Event Management, the same team behind the franchise shows held in Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver and other Canadian and U.S. cities. Exhibitors include well-known franchise networks and emerging brands across food, retail, services, fitness, home improvement and more, presenting full-time and part-time ownership options at every investment level. Visitors can compare concepts side by side, ask franchise development teams direct questions and gather the information they need to make an educated decision in a no-pressure environment. Free seminars run throughout both days covering legal advice, financing options, government assistance programs and how to choose the business that fits your goals. The show runs Saturday and Sunday, with hours of 11am to 5pm on Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sunday. Free ticket registration is available online in advance, and paid admission is available at the door. If you are travelling to Ottawa for the expo, staying near the Cohere Centre and Uplands Drive puts you close to the airport and a short drive from downtown, making it easy to combine the show with a weekend in the capital.
