Where to stay for Affordable Art Fair Houston 2026

Affordable Art Fair arrives in Houston for its inaugural edition, hosted at the George R. Brown Convention Center from October 15 to 18, 2026. The fair brings together a curated mix of local, national and international galleries presenting original contemporary painting, sculpture, photography and prints, all priced between $100 and $12,000. The Houston launch follows the fair's model in more than a dozen cities worldwide: a relaxed, welcoming setting where first-time buyers and seasoned collectors browse side by side. Expect curated sections such as Finds Under $500, artist talks, hands-on workshops and evening receptions alongside the main gallery booths. Because the fair runs for four consecutive days in downtown Houston, staying within walking distance of the Convention Center makes it easy to revisit booths, attend programming and combine the visit with the city's museums and restaurants. Hotels around Avenida de las Americas and Discovery Green put you minutes from the entrance.
