Where to stay for Maker Faire Louisville 2026

Maker Faire Louisville returns to the University of Louisville for a day dedicated to curiosity, craft, and hands-on invention. Makers from across Kentucky and beyond set up projects, robots, homemade gadgets, and DIY experiments for visitors to touch, test, and learn from. The faire is built for families, students, hobbyists, and anyone who has ever taken something apart just to see how it worked. Expect live demonstrations, workshops, and plenty of chances to talk directly with the people building the projects on display. Whether you come as a seasoned maker or simply want a fun Saturday out with the kids, Maker Faire Louisville is an easy, welcoming way to spend the day exploring science, art, engineering, and craft in one place. Because the event takes place on campus, staying nearby lets you arrive early, park easily, and keep the whole day relaxed instead of rushing in from out of town.
