Anime Midwest 2027: where to stay in Rosemont

Anime Midwest 2027 lands in Rosemont, Illinois for a weekend devoted to anime culture just outside Chicago. Over three days at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, attendees can jump into animation premieres, video game tournaments, nerdcore concerts, cosplay contests, and panels hosted by industry guests. It's a fan-run convention brought to life by AnimeCon.org, pairing a sprawling exhibit hall with programming that covers Japanese animation, manga, music, gaming, and sword-fighting demos. Standout draws include the Cosplay World Crown stage, autograph sessions with voice actors, the maid cafe, karaoke, free DDR play, and the bottomless ramen-and-soda lounge. Getting there is easy: the venue sits next to O'Hare International Airport and about 25 minutes from downtown Chicago. Adjacent official hotels — Hyatt Regency O'Hare, Embassy Suites, and DoubleTree by Hilton Rosemont — offer discounted rates for attendees, and a free PACE bus links the convention center with the CTA Blue Line and local outlets.
