Artissima 2026: Contemporary Art Fair in Turin

Artissima stands as Italy's most significant contemporary art fair. Established in 1994, it has successfully merged the international art market with a curatorial focus on experimentation and research. Each year, galleries from around the globe gather in Turin to showcase their most avant-garde proposals. The fair is organized into four main sections (Main Section, Monologue/Dialogue, New Entries, and Art Editions) alongside three curated sections overseen by an international committee: Present Future, dedicated to emerging artists; Back to the Future, which revisits the pioneers of contemporary art; and Disegni, focusing on drawing. This hybrid format makes Artissima a unique space where commercial consolidation and artistic exploration coexist. In 2026, the event will take place from October 30 to November 1 at the Oval Lingotto Fiere, with an invitation-only preview on October 29. The venue, an impressive 20,000-square-meter glass and steel structure, is located in the historic Lingotto district, a masterpiece of industrial archaeology converted by Renzo Piano.
