Autocar Expo 2026 in Lyon: where to stay by Eurexpo

Autocar Expo is France's flagship national gathering for the coach industry, held at the Eurexpo exhibition centre in Lyon. The show brings together coach manufacturers, bodybuilders, engine makers, equipment suppliers and service companies covering maintenance, banking, insurance, training and IT, forming a complete picture of coach mobility under one roof. Across four days, passenger transport professionals can explore the latest market developments, get close to new vehicles and their associated services, and test more than one hundred coaches on the dynamic driving tracks set up by the manufacturers themselves. It is a unique opportunity to compare models side by side and choose the vehicle that best fits each fleet. Beyond the trade show floor, the event features an official inauguration with local officials and industry representatives, alongside professional entertainment designed to enliven the visit. The first day closes with a cocktail reception that encourages informal contact between exhibitors and visitors. Autocar Expo runs on a two-year cycle and is driven by Les Clés de l'Événement together with the FNTV. Its location in Lyon, halfway between the city centre and Saint-Exupéry airport, makes it easy to reach from across France and from other European cities.
