Automotoretrò is Italy's leading exhibition devoted to historic vehicle collecting. Staged in Parma since 1983, it brings together enthusiasts, collectors and classic-car professionals from across Europe and kicks off the Italian trade-fair season for the sector. The show spreads across 50,000 square metres of exhibition space at the Fiere di Parma fairground. The floor plan is split into clearly defined themed areas: official dealers, restorers and private sellers of vintage cars and motorcycles; spare parts and automobilia for the most demanding purists; a section given over to classic boats, from refined motorised bowriders to restored racing hulls; and a dedicated zone for historic clubs and racing teams. Two wheels get equal billing, with motorcycles from every era on display, from pioneer machines to post-war models. Modelling and art round out the offer, with collectible pieces and craft work in every scale, alongside institutional stands from public bodies, official manufacturers and law-enforcement agencies. The 2027 edition runs from 5 to 7 March, combining trade-focused days with a weekend open to the general public, and features a programme of talks, outdoor dynamic events and themed exhibitions of vehicles that made history.
