Brookings Summer Arts Festival 2027 in Pioneer Park, SD

The Brookings Summer Arts Festival takes over Pioneer Park for two days each July, drawing more than 175 juried artists from across the nation representing 15 creative disciplines. Visitors wander tree-lined paths discovering original, handcrafted works of art, from ceramics and jewelry to painting, sculpture and fiber. Thirty-six gourmet and ethnic food booths satisfy every appetite, while the Artisan Food and Naturals area brings together over 30 makers of packaged cottage foods and natural skin care products. Historic and antique booths celebrate South Dakota's heritage, and a lively children's area in the center of the park offers hands-on educational activities. Entertainment plays out on the historic park Bandshell and side stages throughout the weekend, and admission is completely free.
