CFIA Rennes 2027: where to stay in Rennes

CFIA Rennes is the annual meeting point for the European food processing industry. Over three days, the Parc Expo Rennes brings together virtually the entire value chain: manufacturers of equipment and processes, suppliers of ingredients and food additives, packaging and conditioning specialists, and industrial service providers. Marking its 30th edition, the show hosts more than 2,000 exhibitors and 500 working machines across the venue's 12 halls. The programme is organised around themed areas such as Usine Agro du Futur, the Packaging Innovation Showcase and the Innovation Trophies, alongside a conference and agora agenda covering food safety, smart manufacturing and energy. The visitor profile is strictly trade: production managers, R&D, purchasing, quality and plant directors who come to assess technical solutions, benchmark suppliers and close commercial deals. The 2026 edition drew 23,600 visitors, up 10.5% year on year. For those travelling from outside Brittany, Parc Expo Rennes-Aéroport sits in Bruz, about 15 minutes from the city centre and a short drive from the airport, with hotel stock concentrated in Rennes and its southern outskirts.
