Christmas Shopping Fayre 2026 in Exeter: where to stay

Now in its 30th year, the Christmas Shopping Fayre returns to Westpoint Exhibition Centre in Exeter as one of the UK's largest seasonal shopping events. Over 250 stallholders travel from across the country and beyond, filling the halls with gift ideas, handmade crafts, fashion, homeware, toys and speciality food and drink. It is designed as a day out for the whole family rather than a straightforward retail hall: live entertainers and demonstrators roam the aisles, the food and drink section offers free tastings, and Santa's Grotto is free for children. Many exhibitors rebook their stands a full year ahead, which says a lot about how the show is run. The fayre opens 10am to 5pm on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 November, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday 29. Parking at Westpoint is free and the site is level, with disabled parking and step-free access throughout. Admission is cash only, though most exhibitors take card payments, and there are no cash machines on site, so plan ahead.
