CineEurope is the official convention of the International Union of Cinemas (UNIC), the trade body representing exhibitors and national associations across 38 European territories. Produced by The Film Expo Group, it brings together major circuits and independent theatre owners to explore the latest equipment, concessions, products and technologies shaping the motion picture exhibition industry. Over four days, Barcelona becomes the industry's meeting point, hosting exclusive studio screenings, product presentations, educational seminars and a trade fair showcasing cutting-edge developments in image, sound and the cinema experience. In 2027, the Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB) once again hosts the event — a venue designed for doing business, learning and networking among industry professionals. Attendance is restricted to registered trade visitors.
