CIO Executive Summit in Chicago, December 2026

The Chicago CIO Executive Summit is part of Gartner C-Level Communities (formerly Evanta), bringing together senior technology leaders from organizations across the metro area. The agenda is built around what's actually on a CIO's desk this quarter: scaling enterprise AI, securing it without slowing delivery, and standing up data governance that people trust. The day runs as working sessions rather than a conference—interactive discussions, peer-led conversations and private one-to-one meetings. Attendance is limited and there's no vendor pitch track. Participants are CIOs, CISOs and senior technology executives from Chicago-area organizations. It takes place at Convene Willis Tower, one block from the Chicago Board of Trade and a short walk from Union Station. Sitting in the Loop means most downtown hotels are walkable, which matters since the summit is a single Tuesday and many attendees stay just one night. Gartner C-Level Communities runs over 400 programs across 10 countries, with around 14,000 members in regional CIO, CISO, CHRO, CDAO, CFO and CSCO groups.
