International Metrology Congress 2027 in Lyon

The International Metrology Congress (CIM) returns to Lyon for its 2027 edition, reaffirming its status as the premier gathering for professionals in measurement and metrology. Organized by the Collège Français de Métrologie (CFM), the event comes back to the city where it was founded for four days of top-level scientific and technological exchange. The CIM2027 program will tackle the sector's most pressing challenges through fifteen oral sessions and two poster sessions. Highlighted topics include connectivity and protocol standardization, data and metadata management, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and the impact of quantum technology on precision measurement. Other areas covered range from dimensional metrology and thermometry to biology, chemistry, and the traceability of reference materials. Running alongside the congress is the Village Métrologie, a 1,000 sqm exhibition space where manufacturers, laboratories, and technology providers showcase their solutions and innovations.
