The 18th Annual e-Crime & Cybersecurity Mid-Year Summit is a single-day congress built around a blunt question: how can security leaders keep organisations safe when the gap between expectation and capacity keeps widening? This year's theme, "The CISO Capacity Gap: Securing Digital Dependency in the Real World," frames every session around the hard trade-offs CISOs now have to make. Delegates work through what must stay in-house, what can be safely outsourced, what should be automated, and what needs to reach the board as an accepted business risk. Sessions dig into AI and quantum readiness, identity and governance for non-human actors, data leakage risks from agent-driven activity, AI-assisted anti-phishing, and the integrity of AI supply chains. A second track covers the fundamentals of better security: threat intelligence in a preemptive posture, cloud-native security posture management, continuous attack surface discovery, SOAR-driven automation and defence against the latest ransomware strains. Regulation runs through the day, from DORA and NIS2 to the Cyber Resilience Act and the UK cyber resilience agenda. Attendees are drawn from banking, telecoms, energy, healthcare, retail, government and law enforcement, with job titles ranging from CISO and head of information security to cyber threat intelligence lead and chief risk officer. The venue is Park Plaza Victoria, London, on 15 October 2026.
