Education & Career Fairs Vancouver 2026

The Education & Career Fairs (ECF) return to Vancouver as part of their annual BC tour, offering a full day of face-to-face contact between students and the people who shape their next steps. Universities, colleges, private training institutions, industry associations and local employers set up booths so attendees can compare programmes, ask about entry requirements and gather first-hand information on scholarships and financial aid. The fair has been running since 1996 and is designed for secondary students, young adults changing careers and new immigrants looking to translate their experience into the Canadian job market. Career counsellors and teachers also attend to refresh their resources and make contacts with recruiters. Alongside the exhibition floor, ECF runs free resources such as career assessments, résumé critiques, professional headshots and career preparation workshops. Everything on site is free to attend, which makes the day an easy option for school groups and families planning a visit to Vancouver Convention Centre. For those travelling from outside the city, staying close to Canada Place keeps the venue, downtown transit and evening plans within walking distance.
