The Environments for Aging Conference + Expo is where senior living design moves forward. One of the industry's fastest-growing sectors, senior living keeps opening new opportunities, and EFA is where designers, operators and partners gather to explore them. The 2027 edition runs April 12-14 at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C. Over two-plus days, the program keeps sessions short and practical, built around real-world case studies, research findings and design processes for long-term care and residential settings. Kickoff day is set aside for immersive experiences: community tours that showcase design innovations in action and pre-conference workshops covering the continuum of care, from CCRC design to memory and dementia care. Continuing education credits are available through tours, workshops, keynotes and breakout sessions. On the show floor, exhibitors meet their target market and build relationships across architecture, development, operations and product manufacturing. EFA is presented by Emerald X, publisher of EFA Magazine, in association with leading industry associations.
