Festival du Livre de Paris 2027 at the Grand Palais

The Festival du Livre de Paris returns to the Grand Palais from 16–18 April 2027, bringing together publishers, authors and readers under one roof. Across three days, the venue hosts talks, signings, masterclasses and exhibitions spanning fiction, comics, young adult, romance, crime, fantasy and the humanities. The 2026 edition drew 121,000 visitors, 1,800 authors and over 3,000 signing sessions across 12 stages — a format that has become the festival's signature. A themed evening event, dedicated to gastronomy in the last edition, rounds out the programme. Organised by the Syndicat national de l'édition through its subsidiary Paris Livres Événements, the fair enjoys the backing of France's leading publishing houses and welcomes a rotating line-up of international guest countries each year. Entry is open to the general public, with a strong professional presence alongside casual readers. For visitors coming from outside Paris, staying near the Champs-Élysées or in the 8th arrondissement puts the Grand Palais within walking distance and makes it easy to combine the fair with the rest of the city's cultural calendar.
