Foire de Châlons-en-Champagne 2027: where to stay

From 27 August to 6 September 2027, Châlons-en-Champagne hosts the 81st edition of its flagship fair. It is eastern France's largest general-interest trade fair, set in a region that borders four European countries and lies at the heart of the Champagne vineyards. Over eleven days, the Le Capitole en Champagne site brings together around ten themed shows: food and gastronomy, home improvement, automotive, health and wellness, leisure, agriculture and agri-tech. The fair puts regional farming and food excellence front and centre, and also spotlights local economic innovation. The event is paired with Foire en Scène, a music festival running concerts every afternoon and evening. Around twenty restaurants serve regional French and international cuisine, while the agricultural area includes a working farm with animals and pavilions showcasing local produce. Its mixed professional-and-family profile draws exhibitors and visitors from across France and neighbouring countries. Booking accommodation early in Châlons-en-Champagne or nearby towns is strongly advised, as the city fills up throughout the eleven days.
