GENERA is the International Energy and Environment Fair that IFEMA MADRID runs alongside MATELEC as part of the International Week of Electrification and Decarbonisation. The upcoming edition, running 24–26 November 2026, covers renewable generation, storage, energy efficiency, digitalisation and smart infrastructure. The show is backed by IDAE, the Spanish Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving, and brings together the country's main energy players. Its Innovation Gallery, conference tracks and networking areas make it the reference trading floor for clean-energy professionals. The last edition topped 32,000 m² of exhibition space, drew over 500 companies and hosted 57,000 trade visitors, placing it among Europe's biggest energy and sustainability gatherings. If you plan to attend, staying at hotels near IFEMA Madrid puts you minutes from the halls via Metro Line 8 or the M40 motorway, avoiding a daily commute from the city centre.
