Giappone in Fiera 2027 in Erba: where to stay

GIAPPONE IN FIERA returns to the Lario Fiere venue in Erba with a new edition devoted to Japanese culture in all its forms. Across two days, visitors can browse a market of kawaii goods, action figures, crafts and books, and watch live demonstrations of tea ceremony, calligraphy, ikebana and kimono dressing. Food takes centre stage: sushi, ramen, takoyaki and mochi are served at street-food stands, with show cooking and tastings led by specialist chefs. Meanwhile, the pop-culture area hosts cosplay contests, screenings, retro gaming and virtual reality experiences. Martial arts and zen practices round out the programme with open classes and demonstrations of judo, karate, kendo, meditation, reiki and shiatsu. The stage line-up includes taiko drumming, shamisen, traditional dance, J-pop and karaoke. There is also a family zone with manga workshops, games and educational activities. Erba sits in the province of Como, roughly 50 km from Milan and close to Lake Como, making the event a good base for exploring northern Italy around the fair.
