HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition 2027 in Chicago

HIMSS27, the 2027 edition of the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition, lands at McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago from April 5 to 8, 2027. Monday, April 5 is reserved for preconference forums (registration required), while the main Conference & Exhibition runs Tuesday, April 6 through Thursday, April 8. Organized by Informa Markets under the HIMSS umbrella, it is widely recognized as the world's leading health information and technology gathering. Across more than 600 education sessions, attendees — provider organizations, payers, government agencies, startups, consultancies and technology vendors — dig into the forces reshaping care: AI-assisted diagnostics, cybersecurity, interoperability, data governance, health equity, workforce pressures and digital transformation. Dedicated tracks and communities serve nurses, physicians, C-suite leaders, investors, payers, emerging leaders, international delegations and government officials, so you can build a personal agenda by role and region. On the show floor, thousands of exhibiting companies — including specialty pavilions and first-time startup showcases — present the products and platforms shaping the next decade of healthcare. The HIMSS27 experience reaches beyond the exhibit hall with the Executive Summit, the Hosted Buyer Program, Workforce ConneXtions and a full slate of evening networking events built for lasting partnerships. For those heading to Chicago, the venue sits on the lakefront at 2301 S. Lake Shore Drive. Rooms in the official HIMSS27 hotel block tend to sell out early, and staying downtown near McCormick Place keeps you within easy reach of morning keynotes and evening receptions.
