The Napa Valley Fall Triathlon returns to the shores of Lake Berryessa on October 24, 2026, bringing four race distances to one of Northern California's most scenic venues. Athletes can choose from the Open (100m swim, 2mi bike, 1mi run), Sprint (750m/12.4mi/3.1mi), Olympic (1500m/24.8mi/6.2mi) or Long Course (1.2mi/56mi/13.1mi) format, with aquabike, sprint duathlon and relay categories also on the starting line. The course threads through wine country roads with Lake Berryessa as a backdrop, and the late-October date typically delivers water temperatures in the high 60s. All distances are USAT-sanctioned, timed with chip technology, and supported by aid stations every 10–20 miles on the bike and every 1–1.5 miles on the run. Registration is available online up to race start, and discounted entry is offered for youth, military, first responders, students and club members. Race weekend draws athletes and their families to the Napa area, making it a strong booking window for hotels near the venue and downtown Napa.
