Hortigranjeiros 2027 in Santa Rosa: where to stay

Hortigranjeiros is the flagship gathering for family farming and horticulture in northwestern Rio Grande do Sul. For six days, the Parque Municipal de Exposições Alfredo Leandro Carlson turns into a meeting point for rural producers, agricultural machinery companies, artisans, animal breeders and city dwellers eager to see how the food on their table is grown. The programme mixes Hortishow with themed seminars, hands-on experimentation areas, the Horti na Cozinha cooking contest and the Feirão Mais Alimentos market. Visitors can walk through stands covering horticulture, floriculture, fruit growing, livestock, pets, handicrafts and consumer goods, and join business matchmaking sessions designed to link small and mid-sized producers with buyers and distributors. Admission is free, which reinforces the fair's popular character and its aim of bringing the countryside closer to the city.
