Salone dello Studente Matera 2027: where to stay

The Salone dello Studente returns to Matera as part of its nationwide Italian tour, a circuit that every year puts thousands of secondary school students in touch with universities, academies and training providers. This edition runs on 3-4 March 2027 and gives visitors the chance to explore the full range of post-diploma study options, both in Italy and overseas. The fair is aimed at upper-secondary students who are shaping their next step, as well as teachers and parents supporting that decision. Attendees can browse exhibitor stands, sit in on presentations and speak directly with advisers about degree programmes, admission requirements and career paths. Attendance counts towards recognised school-work credits and compulsory guidance hours, and certificates are issued using blockchain technology so they can be verified. That makes it a practical stop for schools planning structured orientation activities. For visitors travelling in from outside Matera, the central location makes it easy to pair the fair with a one or two-night stay. Booking accommodation early is advisable, as the Salone calendar clusters several events across different Italian cities within the same period.
