+INDUSTRY 2027: smart manufacturing in Bilbao

+INDUSTRY returns to the Bilbao Exhibition Centre as Spain's broadest showcase for smart manufacturing. Across three days, the halls bring together machine-tool builders, robotics integrators, automation suppliers and technology centres, with dedicated areas for metalworking, plastics and composites, additive manufacturing and advanced materials. The programme mixes a commercial exhibition with live demonstrations, technical workshops and conference sessions, making it relevant both for engineering and procurement teams and for anyone tracking how Industry 4.0 is unfolding across the Basque Country and northern Spain. Because the fair runs every two years, it concentrates a large share of the region's industrial ecosystem in Bilbao for a single week. Visitors travelling from outside the area should book accommodation in Bilbao or Barakaldo well in advance: hotel capacity near the venue is limited and fills up quickly once the dates approach. The biennial rhythm also makes it easier to plan attendance in advance and to line up side meetings with suppliers and partners around the same week.
