International Potato Technology Expo 2028 in Charlottetown, PEI

The International Potato Technology Expo is North America's flagship gathering for the potato industry, returning to the Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on February 24-25, 2028. Produced by Marketplace Events, the biennial show has served the sector for more than two decades, connecting seed growers, equipment manufacturers, dealers, processors, researchers and logistics providers under one roof. Exhibitors showcase the full potato value chain: seed varieties and agronomy, soil preparation, planting, harvest and handling machinery, storage and transport solutions, plus food processing technology and industry services. The floor works as a hands-on marketplace where dealers demo new products, manufacturers preview launches and buyers compare specs side by side. Thousands of buyers and decision-makers attend each edition, drawn by the show's reputation as a practical, sales-driven convention rather than a passive exhibition. The Eastlink Centre's location on Prince Edward Island — Canada's potato heartland — makes the trip especially relevant for anyone sourcing for the North American crop cycle. For visitors travelling to Charlottetown, hotels near the Eastlink Centre put the show floor within easy walking distance, with the city's waterfront and downtown restaurants a short ride away. Trade-show week fills up early, so reserving accommodation in advance is recommended.
