Clarion Events Ltd
ITEC returns to ExCeL London from 11 to 13 May 2027 for its 24th edition under Clarion Defence & Security. The event combines a sprawling exhibition of simulation and training technology with a multi-stream technical conference that draws military decision-makers, ministries of defence and NATO representatives from across Europe and beyond. The 2027 conference theme is 'Getting ahead of the threat', focusing on how armed forces must anticipate emerging threats rather than react to them. Expect a broader mix of keynote sessions, plenary panels, technical presentations, live demos and roundtables, with new speaking formats beyond the traditional whitepaper track. On the show floor, exhibitors span the AR/VR, AI, wargaming and defence simulation sectors, from primes like BAE Systems and Babcock to specialised SMEs. The event also hosts a VIP and Delegation Programme, supported by the host nation MOD and DSEI teams, designed for senior military figures and government representatives. For anyone in defence training, simulation or adjacent tech industries, ITEC is one of the year's essential meeting points. Book your hotel early: ExCeL sits on the Royal Victoria Dock, and demand around the Docks spikes during major defence events.
