January Furniture Show 2027: Where to Stay in Birmingham

The January Furniture Show has been the beating heart of the UK furniture trade for more than 37 years. The 2027 edition takes over Halls 1, 2, 3 and 5 at the NEC Birmingham from 24 to 27 January, bringing together over 500 British and international brands and more than 50,000 products across four curated halls. The four-day programme draws retail buyers, contract and hospitality specifiers, interior designers and distributors, all keen to preview new-season collections and compare suppliers side by side. JFS is a trade-only event, so visitors must be able to prove they work in a relevant industry, for example with a business card, letterhead, invoice or company registration. Beyond sourcing, the show hosts live stage sessions, product showcases, international pavilions and a busy social calendar that includes the Excellence in Furniture Awards, the Women in Furniture brunch and the official show party. Free shuttle buses link the on-site car parks to the halls, and Birmingham International station and airport are just a short walk from the venue. If you're planning to attend, booking accommodation near the NEC early is strongly advised, as Birmingham hotel rates climb quickly during the show's four-day run.
