Japan Touch Haru 2026 in Lyon: where to stay near Eurexpo

Japan Touch Haru is Lyon's flagship gathering for fans of Japanese and Asian pop culture. Across two days, Eurexpo hosts stalls devoted to manga, illustration, handicrafts and collectibles, alongside a packed schedule of cosplay contests, video game tournaments and fashion shows inspired by Japanese street style. The fair runs twice a year, in spring and autumn, and draws everyone from families to serious collectors and interactive entertainment enthusiasts. Its home at the Chassieu exhibition centre, just outside Lyon, makes it easy to reach from the city centre and the airport. For visitors travelling in from elsewhere, staying close to Eurexpo means you can enjoy both days without worrying about late-night transport. The Chassieu area and eastern Lyon offer hotels across a range of budgets, perfect for pairing the festival with a food-and-culture break in the Rhône capital.
