La Percée du Vin Jaune

La Percée du Vin Jaune is Jura's largest folk celebration of Vin Jaune. Held every first weekend of February since 1997, it moves each year to a different winegrowing village. The 2027 edition takes place in Arlay, in the heart of the Jura vineyards. Over two days, visitors sample wines from across the region and witness the ceremonial tapping of the barrel that marks the arrival of the new vintage. The programme mixes winemakers' stands, food vendors, artisan producers, live music and a wine auction. The Friday evening Soirée Rencontres Vigneronnes offers a more intimate setting to meet local growers. Entry includes a tasting kit with ten vouchers and a souvenir glass for the edition. Admission is ticketed for visitors aged 18 and over; accompanied minors enter free. Tickets are sold online and through partner tourist offices only — none are available at the gate.
