The London Book Fair 2027 at ExCeL London

The London Book Fair is the pre-eminent spring gathering of the international publishing calendar, bringing together publishers, agents, scouts, licensors and content creators under one roof. For over five decades it has served as the central marketplace where rights deals are struck, co-editions negotiated and the future of creative content defined across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels. In 2027 the fair moves to Excel London, giving the event significantly more floor space for its 1,000+ exhibiting companies, 556 international rights tables and the dedicated International Rights Centre. More than 34,000 publishing professionals are expected to attend, with over 100 seminars spanning the Main Stage, The Salon, Audio Theatre, Tech Theatre, Literary Translation Centre and Author HQ. Alongside the show floor, LBF hosts two paid conferences: the Writers' Summit on 15 March, aimed at authors seeking to understand the publishing journey, and the Academic and Professional Publishing Conference on 18 March, examining digital transformation, trust in science and AI-driven initiatives.
