Macfrut 2027 in Rimini: fresh produce trade fair at Rimini Fiera

Macfrut is Italy's flagship trade show for the fresh produce supply chain and one of Europe's key gatherings for fruit and vegetable professionals. It takes place at the Rimini Fiera exhibition centre on Italy's Adriatic coast, a venue built to host thousands of trade visitors, international exhibitors and buyers from over a hundred countries. The show brings together growers, nurseries, machinery manufacturers, packaging suppliers, logistics operators and retail chains under one roof. Halls are organised thematically, with dedicated areas for production, processing, conditioning and transport of fruit and vegetables, alongside conference tracks covering innovation, sustainability and new plant varieties. Because the venue sits on the outskirts of Rimini, visitors can pair trade show days with the city's hotel stock. The Via Emilia corridor and the railway station area host the bulk of business hotels, while the seafront is a more leisure-oriented option just a short drive or bus ride from the fairgrounds. Macfrut runs annually in April. The 2027 edition keeps the in-person format and targets trade professionals from the agri-food sector, with entry reserved for accredited operators.
