Caen Christmas Market 2026: stay in the historic centre

Every winter, the heart of Caen hosts one of Normandy's most popular Christmas markets. From 28 November to 29 December 2026, a village of wooden chalets takes over the city centre, where local artisans and producers showcase handmade crafts, regional gastronomy and seasonal goods aimed at both the general public and trade buyers. Organised by GL Events – Caen Événements, the market is part of the city's annual festive calendar and draws thousands of visitors across its five-week run.
