Clermont-Ferrand Christmas Market 2026 at Place de Jaude

For one month every winter, Place de Jaude turns into the festive hub of Clermont-Ferrand during its Marché de Noël. Around 73 chalets run by local makers and artisans take over the city centre, offering one-of-a-kind gift ideas alongside regional treats such as truffade and mulled wine. Roughly 450,000 visitors wander past the giant tree, the Ferris wheel and the glowing stalls each season. The programme features free daily entertainment for all ages, from Brazilian-style batucada drumming to school choirs and meet-and-greets with Father Christmas. Entry to the market and all activities is free, making it an easy pick for families and casual visitors. Opening hours vary: Mondays from mid-afternoon, Tuesday to Sunday from the morning, with Friday and Saturday evenings running until 22:00. The market stays closed on 25 December and shuts early on the 24th.
