IEEE MEMS 2027 in Waikoloa, Hawaii — plan your stay

IEEE MEMS 2027 is the 40th edition of the flagship annual conference of the IEEE Micro Electro Mechanical Systems community. Held from 17 to 21 January 2027 at the Hilton Waikoloa Village on Hawaii's Big Island, it welcomes more than 700 participants and over 200 selected papers across a single-session format that fosters direct interaction between attendees, presenters and exhibitors. The technical program covers fabrication, design and simulation tools, silicon and non-silicon materials, electro-mechanical integration, packaging, metrology and system architecture, alongside application tracks in sensors and actuators, opto-mechanical microdevices, fluidic systems, biomedical microdevices, wireless communication, energy harvesting and nano-electro-mechanical devices. For 2027 the conference adds industrial elements aimed at broadening the impact of MEMS in the more-than-Moore era, with a Technology Showcase, an exhibit floorplan and dedicated networking opportunities. A Women in MEMS event and a PiezoMEMS Design Challenge round out the week.
