Mercanteinfiera Spring 2027 in Parma: where to stay

Mercanteinfiera Spring is the spring edition of one of Europe's most established gatherings for collectors, modernism enthusiasts and antique dealers. Across nine days, the halls of Fiere di Parma host more than a thousand exhibitors from all over the continent, each showcasing pieces sourced on their travels: 20th-century design furniture, art objects, jewellery, ceramics, lighting and genuine curiosities rescued from the recent past. The event blends a professional audience of buyers, gallerists, interior designers and antique dealers with a wider public that simply loves collecting. That mix turns the fairground into a place to spot trends in the decorative arts market, close deals and track down objects that rarely surface through conventional channels. Parma itself, with its food scene and artistic heritage, is an added incentive for visitors travelling from abroad. Staying close to the Baganzola exhibition centre makes it easier to make the most of full show days without depending on city traffic or long transfers. Held annually in its spring edition, Mercanteinfiera has become a must-attend reference for the collecting, art and design trade across southern Europe.
