Mineral Expo Paris 2026: where to stay near Espace Charenton

Mineral Expo Paris brings together collectors, enthusiasts and trade professionals from the mineral world every year at Espace Charenton, in the 12th arrondissement of the French capital. Across three days, roughly 200 exhibitors from various countries showcase rough stones, crystals, cut gems, fossils and meteorites, as well as pieces set in jewellery. The fair blends its commercial side with a strong educational angle: talks, themed displays and demonstrations explain how minerals are mined, cut and set. The 2026 edition opens on Friday 4 December at 10:00 and closes on Sunday 6 December at 18:00, running until 19:00 on the first two days. Tickets are sold at the door (€10 standard, €7 reduced, €20 three-day pass) and online pre-sales open in May 2026. Children under 7 enter free when accompanied by an adult. Espace Charenton is easy to reach: metro line 8 (Porte de Charenton), line 6 (Dugommier), tram T3 and buses 87 and 111. For those travelling from out of town, several hotels sit within a kilometre, such as Aparthotel Adagio Access Paris Porte de Charenton or ibis Daumesnil Porte Dorée, alongside public car parks (Poniatowski, Valmy-Liberté and Reuilly-Diderot).
