MWC Barcelona 2027: where to stay near Fira Gran Via

Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona is the flagship global event for the connectivity ecosystem. Organised by the GSMA, it brings together mobile operators, device makers, developers, startups, investors and policymakers from more than 200 countries and territories. For four days, Fira Gran Via becomes the beating heart of the industry, showcasing the technologies that will dominate the year ahead: 5G and 6G networks, applied artificial intelligence, cloud computing, next-generation devices and enterprise solutions. The 2027 edition is built around six thought-leadership themes: Networks Reinvented, AI in Action, Autonomous Enterprise, AI of Tomorrow, Trust at Scale and The Next Era. Alongside them, Connect Health debuts as a new programme developed in partnership with Mobile World Capital, uniting the health, innovation and connectivity ecosystems to accelerate global healthcare transformation through technology. On the showfloor, thousands of exhibitors, sponsors and partners stage live demos — from humanoid robots and remote-operated factories to satellite direct-to-device services and intelligent wearables. The GLOMO Awards celebrate the best in tech, while the GSMA Ministerial Programme convenes governments and regulators to shape digital policy. With over 100,000 attendees, 2,900 exhibitors and 2,600 journalists, MWC Barcelona is also an unmatched high-level networking opportunity. Staying close to Fira Gran Via — in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Plaza Europa or along the Gran Via corridor — helps you make the most of your schedule and cut travel time during a week of peak hotel demand.
