Mostra Mercato del Fumetto 2026 in Bologna: where to stay

The Mostra Mercato del Fumetto returns to Bologna in November 2026, taking over the BolognaFiere exhibition centre. It is the flagship Italian event for vintage and collectible comics, drawing hobbyists, seasoned collectors, specialist bookshops and auction houses from every region of the peninsula. Over two days the halls fill with thousands of items: classic albums, first printings, newspaper strips, original artwork, historic magazines and cult memorabilia. The fair blends a professional marketplace with a fan-driven atmosphere, ideal for trading, buying and spotting rare finds. Bologna itself, long the heart of Italy's comics industry, makes the trip worthwhile: specialist bookstores and cultural venues are within easy reach. A perfect excuse for a weekend getaway with accommodation close to BolognaFiere.
