Detroit Auto Show 2027 at Huntington Place: where to stay

The Detroit Auto Show takes over Huntington Place from January 14–24, 2027, continuing a tradition that has hosted the North American auto industry's biggest debuts for over a century. Across eleven days, visitors can walk the show floor, get behind the wheel of the latest models, and take part in hands-on activations designed for the whole family. A highlight of the program is the indoor EV Experience, where attendees can explore and test a wide range of electric vehicles under one roof. It joins AutoMobili-D, a space built around startups, suppliers, and mobility developers, and the Mobility Global Forum, which brings industry leaders together to discuss where transportation is heading. The schedule also features the Charity Preview, a benefit gala that has raised more than $125 million for southeastern Michigan children's charities since 1976, plus side events such as the Detroit Auto Show 5K.
