North East Optical Show 2027 in Providence, RI

The North East Optical Show (NEOS) returns to Providence for its Spring 2027 edition on April 17 and 18. Born in 2022 when a group of independent optical sales reps pooled over 50 collections, NEOS has grown into one of the largest independent optical trade shows in the United States, now featuring more than 80 frame collections alongside independent labs, lens companies and optical technology providers. The show is built for optical professionals who want real access to independent brands and the people behind them: opticians, optometrists, shop owners and their teams. NEOS is not open to the general public, but anyone working in optics is welcome — and families are too. Admission to the show floor is free; classes and workshops, typically offered in the spring, may carry a separate fee. Expect an easygoing, intimate format rather than a vast convention floor. An open bar and light snacks run throughout the day, and lawn games and kids' activities often make an appearance, so Sunday doesn't have to feel like work.
