Paris Photo 2026 at the Grand Palais: where to stay in Paris

Paris Photo 2026 returns to the Grand Palais for its 29th edition, reinforcing its role as the leading international event for the photography market. Galleries, artists, publishers, institutions and collectors from more than 30 countries gather across 21,000 sqm under the landmark Parisian dome. This year's edition centres on the Bicentennial of photography: the fair hosts a special display of nearly one hundred works from the Centre Pompidou collection, alongside a historical journey from early 19th-century processes to today's digital practices. The programme is structured around five sectors — Principal (including the large-scale Prismes projects), Voices, Digital, Emergence and Editions — each curated by invited specialists. The week is rounded out by the Conversations and Book Talks series, signings, performances, the Paris Photo-Aperture PhotoBook Awards and the Elles × Paris Photo trail championing women photographers. A preview on 11 November opens the fair to professionals and collectors ahead of the public opening from 12 to 15 November.
