PAX East 2027 in Boston: where to stay near the Seaport

PAX East is the largest gaming festival on the East Coast, and the 2027 edition lands at the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston from April 21 to 25. Expect a packed expo hall featuring top publishers, indie showcases, hands-on demos, and the debut of upcoming titles across every platform. Beyond the show floor, the program includes panels with developers and creators, autograph sessions, the Omegathon tournament, PAX Arena esports, freeplay areas, tabletop exhibitors, and nightly concerts. The community-driven atmosphere is a core part of the experience, with cosplay, meetups, and the famous Enforcer crew keeping things running. For travelers, the venue sits at 415 Summer St in the Seaport District, walkable to waterfront hotels and a short ride from downtown Boston and Logan Airport. Booking accommodations early is strongly recommended, as PAX East regularly sells out nearby hotels. Expo Hall hours run 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily, while show-floor evening programming extends until midnight Thursday through Saturday.
