Play Festival del Gioco 2027 in Bologna: where to stay

Play Festival del Gioco brings its 2027 edition to the Bologna Exhibition Centre with three days devoted to every corner of gaming culture: board games, tabletop RPGs, video games, gamebooks and play theory. The event gathers streamers, game masters, indie designers, established publishers and emerging studios under one roof. Across the halls you'll find demo zones, open tables, tournaments, publisher showcases and family-friendly areas. The programme balances a professional track — networking between distributors, editors and specialist press — with the curiosity of general visitors who want to play new releases before buying them. Bologna's university heritage and lively cultural scene make it a smart base during the festival. Booking a hotel near the exhibition centre lets you stay for full days without commuting between the historic centre and the fairgrounds.
