Raleigh Bass & Saltwater Fishing Expo 2027 at NC State Fairgrounds

From January 8 to 10, 2027, the NC State Fairgrounds hosts the Raleigh Bass & Saltwater Fishing Expo, the Southeast's flagship three-day showcase for fishing gear. More than 130 local, regional, and national companies roll in with truckloads of tackle, rods, reels, apparel, charts, charters, sunglasses, electronics, and knives at off-season prices, while the Jim Graham Building becomes the largest multi-dealer fishing boat display in North Carolina, with over 20 regional marine dealers on board. Weekend programming centers on seminars from national pro anglers, backed by the 4,000-gallon Bass Tub of Oklahoma, where largemouth bass demonstrate live the lures and techniques being discussed on stage. A single ticket covers all three days and every show hour: Friday 10am to 7pm, Saturday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 10am to 5pm. Family-friendly attractions round out the day, including the Favorite Fishing Mountain Trout Pond simulator stocked with rainbow and brown trout. Parking at the fairgrounds is free and plentiful, and a small number of complimentary wheelchairs are available at the entrance on a first-come basis. Admission runs $14 for adults, $12 for seniors 65+ and military, $6 for junior anglers ages 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and under. Tickets are good all three days and can be bought at the door or online.
