Bordeaux Work-Study Fair 2027: where to stay

The Bordeaux Work-Study Fair, known locally as the Salon de l'Alternance, is the yearly meeting point for secondary and higher-education students weighing up apprenticeship and work-study routes. Run jointly with the Bordeaux Employment and Enterprise Centre, it brings together schools, universities, training bodies and companies offering apprenticeship and professionalisation contracts. Over two days, visitors can explore programmes, get straight answers on Parcoursup applications, sit in on expert-led talks and workshops, and speak directly with admissions staff and recruiters. It is a rare chance to compare tracks side by side, understand entry requirements and shape a realistic plan. Set in the Hangar 14 venue on the Garonne riverside, the show floor hosts around a hundred exhibitors grouped by sector. Doors are open Friday full day and Saturday morning, which suits both school groups and families travelling from across the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
