The Salon formations et recrutement en alternance brings together in Caen the companies, apprenticeship training centres (CFA), schools and training bodies that hire work-study students. It is aimed at high-school pupils, university students and professionals looking to retrain who need to secure a company for a work-study, apprenticeship or professionalisation contract. Across the day, visitors can talk directly with recruiters, hand in CVs, explore BTS, BUT, bachelor and master programmes available in alternance, and get straight answers about Parcoursup, employers and career paths. The event is held with the support of the French Ministry of Labour and Solidarities. The fair takes place at the Parc des Expositions de Caen, Hall 1, with free entry upon registration. Talks led by journalists and experts cover how work-study schemes work, how to find a host company and which sectors are recruiting in 2027. Registering online and planning your visit ahead is recommended.
