Lyon Apprenticeship and Work-Study Fair 2027

The Lyon Training and Work-Study Recruitment Fair is the annual must-attend event for anyone looking to combine studies with professional experience. Organised by L'Etudiant with support from the Ministry of Labour and Solidarity, it gathers at the Cité Centre de Congrès a mix of recruiting companies, apprenticeship training centres (CFA), schools and training organisations offering work-study programmes. Throughout the day, visitors can learn how apprenticeship and professionalisation contracts work, explore the qualifications available (BTS, BUT, bachelor's, master's and school programmes) and get practical guidance on finding a host company. The fair is designed both for secondary school and university students and for professionals considering a career change. Beyond the exhibition stands, the programme includes free talks led by journalists and experts, covering topics such as Parcoursup, tips for securing a work-study placement or the sectors hiring most in 2027. Entry is free but advance registration is required, granting a named invitation valid for all accompanying guests. For attendees travelling from outside Lyon, the Cité Internationale location makes it easy to find hotels near the venue, with options for every budget and just a few minutes' walk from the congress centre.
