Valenciennes Student and Training Fair 2026

The Student and Training Fair of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambrésis is the go-to annual event for anyone exploring higher education options in northern France. Hosted by L'Etudiant alongside the Région académique Hauts-de-France, it brings together universities, business and engineering schools, vocational institutes and other training providers under one roof. Across the day, visitors can browse exhibition stands, sit in on talks led by L'Etudiant's editorial team and use dedicated guidance tools. Sessions cover essential topics such as Parcoursup, work-study programmes, preparatory classes and how to choose between a university and a grande école, giving attendees practical advice for shaping their academic path. Designed for students as well as parents and school groups, the fair offers free registration and an interactive floor plan to help plan your route. It is the ideal moment to speak directly with admissions staff and get answers on courses, scholarships, accommodation and career prospects. If you are planning to attend, staying at a hotel near the Cité des Congrès in Valenciennes lets you make the most of the day without worrying about travel. The Anzin area and central Valenciennes offer a range of accommodation options within easy reach of the venue.
